Pune: Car Catches Fire Near Sangam Bridge; No Casualties Reported
Pune, 8th October 2024: A Tata Zest car caught fire near Sangam Bridge, close to the Regional Transport Office (RTO), at approximately 9:40 am today. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Officer Kamlesh Chaudhary, while speaking to Punekar News, confirmed that the fire was brought under control after two fire tankers from Kasba Fire Station and Naidu Fire Station arrived at the scene.
A team of five firefighters—Driver Kiran Shinde, Firemen Abdul Patel, Rajendra Mahadik, Dattatray Sahane, and Helper Atish Naik Navare—were involved in extinguishing the blaze and ensuring the area was safe.
