Pune, 8th June 2024: Another case has been registered against builder Vishal Agarwal of Bramha Realty and his father Surendra Agarwal, who are already accused in the Kalyaninagar Porsche accident case. The new charges involve threatening to kill an individual using the name of notorious criminal Chhota Rajan in a land transaction in the Kondhwa area, involving a sum of Rs. 1 crore 32 lakh.

Builder Surendra Brahmadutt Agarwal (age 77), his son Vishal Agarwal (age 50), and Jaspreet Singh Rajpal are named in the case. The complaint was filed by Mushtaq Shabbir Momin (age 45, resident of Kausarbagh, Kondhwa) at Kondhwa Police Station. Momin’s agency, M. M Associates and Vastu Properties, handles building permissions and land transactions.

The dispute began with land located in the Brahma County Society in Kondhwa. Vishal Agarwal and Jaspreet Singh Rajpal had a conflict with Nivritti Kopare over this land. In July 2019, Agarwal approached Momin to mediate the dispute, agreeing to pay Rs. 1.5 crore for his services. An advance payment of Rs. 18 lakh was made to Momin, with the promise of the remaining Rs. 1 crore 32 lakh after the resolution of the land-related issues.

Momin successfully obtained legal possession of the premises for Agarwal, and on July 31, an agreement was signed between the Kopare family and Surendra Agarwal. Momin constructed a boundary wall around the land and installed CCTV cameras. When Momin demanded the remaining payment, Agarwal and Rajpal threatened him. They called Momin to their office on Mahatma Gandhi Road in the Camp area, where Agarwal reportedly said, “Do you and your family want to live? Be satisfied with what has been paid, or I will file an extortion case and send you to jail.”

Momin then filed a complaint at the police commissionerate. Subsequently, Agarwal and Rajpal called Momin again, issuing further threats. On March 3, 2021, during a meeting at the Bombay High Court, Agarwal allegedly threatened to throw Momin from the court building, stating they had direct connections with Chhota Rajan. Agarwal referenced an incident involving a shooting at Ajay Bhosle, suggesting Momin would not survive like Bhosle did.

The police are now investigating these serious allegations, which have added to the legal troubles of Vishal Agarwal and his father Surendra.
