Pune: Brakes Fail During Trial Run, Car Hits Multiple Two-Wheelers in Pimpri Chinchwad
Ravet, 19th July 2024: While taking a trial run of a repaired car in Pimpri Chinchwad, the brakes suddenly failed. As a result, the car skidded and hit eight to ten two-wheelers. The incident took place today in the evening at Maske Wasti, Ravet.
According to Senior Police Inspector Mahendra Kadam of Ravet Police Station, the car had come in for repair at a garage in Maske Wasti. After repairing the car, the garage driver took it for a trial run. During the trial at Maske Wasti, the car experienced a technical problem and the brakes suddenly locked.
As a result, the car skidded and collided with four to five two-wheelers parked on the side of the road. Both the car and the two-wheelers were damaged. The police have detained the car driver, and the Ravet Police are investigating.
