Pune: BJP Corporator Dheeraj Ghate Claims Conspiracy To Assassinate Him Before PMC Election, Blames MNS

Pune, 7th September 2021: An alleged conspiracy to assassinate Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator and former PMC House leader Dheeraj Ghate has been exposed.
Based on his complaint, Pune Police have registered case against Vicky alias Vitul Waman Kshirsagar, Manoj Sambhiji Patole (resident of Saneguruji Nagar, Ambilodha Colony) and three to four of their accomplices.
Ghate (46), resident of Sneh Nagar near Nilayam Talkies has filed the complaint with Vishrambaug police station. The incident took place on Friday at around 3 pm near Saffron Hotel on Shastri Road in Navi Peth.
According to police, Ghate had gone to the Saffron Hotel for tea on Friday afternoon. At that time, his old partyworker Vicky Kshirsagar was there with some of his friends. He had worked with Ghate about five years ago.
His brother Rakesh Kshirsagar conspired to assassinate Ghate at the Saffron Hotel in order to get himself elected in the forthcoming municipal corporation elections unopposed, Ghate stated in his complaint.
