Pune ATS Charge Sheet Reveals Plot To Attack Rally Of BJP Leaders In Uttar Pradesh
Pune, 24th August 2022: Mohammad Junaid (28) who wad arrested from Dapodi by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for planning to carry out attacks in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, have revealed shocking information.
According to ATS, Narasimhanandan Saraswati, singer Sandeep Acharya, and Jitendra Narayan, alias Wasim Rizvi, were the targets of the attack. A plan to attack a BJP rally in Uttar Pradesh was also revealed. The information has emerged from the charge sheet filed by the ATS in the court.
On May 24, ATS arrested Junaid from the Dapodi area on suspicion of having links with terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir. Later, the team also arrested Junaid’s accomplices, Inamul Haque, Yusuf, and Aftab Hussain Shah. Money was provided to Junaid for terrorist activities by a terrorist organization in Jammu and Kashmir. After that, the team arrested Yusuf and Aftab Shah from Jammu and Kashmir. Inamul Haq was shackled from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
Junaid is originally from Buldhana district and has completed his education up to the 10th standard. He came in contact with terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir through social media. After that, the investigation of the team revealed that Junaid and his accomplices were preparing to carry out ambush operations in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
The ATS submitted a 2,000-page charge sheet against all the four accused in the court on Saturday.
Junaid and his accomplices had also planned to attack the rally of top BJP leaders in Uttar Pradesh. They were to get the material and money for making the explosives directly from Pakistan. The plan was ongoing under Junaid’s supervision when the ATS took him into custody, the charge sheet reveals.
Narasimhanand Saraswati is the Mahant of “Shiva Shakti Dham” in Ghaziabad. He runs an organization called Hindu Swabhiman. He is known for his provocative speeches. Jitendra Narayan, alias Wasim Rizvi, is a native of Uttar Pradesh and is the former chairman of the Shia Waqf Board. He joined Sanatan Dharma a few months ago. Singer Sandeep Acharya was a star campaigner of Yogi Adityanath. He is also known as a writer of controversial songs.
