Pune: Army Public School Kirkee Celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with Vibrant Prabhat Pheri

Pune, 5th October 2023: Army Public School (APS) Kirkee organized a Prabhat Pheri in commemoration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating India’s independence since 1947. The event was part of the Meri Maati Mera Desh program and showcased a vibrant display of unity and patriotism.

Hundreds of students from Classes 6 to 10, led by their teachers, participated in the colorful rally. The march spanned more than 3 kilometers and took place within the Army campus of B. E. G & Centre. Students and teachers proudly held aloft the Tiranga, India’s national flag, as well as banners displaying slogans related to India’s pride, freedom, and its brave hearts. The air was filled with the resonating sound of the Panch Pran pledge.

The event was further enlivened by the Dhol and Nagadas, traditional Indian drums, and patriotic songs performed by the music teachers and the choir. The melodies infused a spirit of patriotic fervor among the residents of the neighboring community.

The event was a resounding success, evident from the lively enthusiasm on the faces of all participants. The students and teachers expressed immense pride in the nation’s martyrs and in being born in such a glorious country.
