Pune, November 2, 2020: The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA) has been administering some of the most prestigious awards in the country for over seven decades. With this rich history, the awards bring great credibility and recognition to the awardees.
The chamber is now inviting you to become a part of this illustrious legacy by registering your nomination. These longest running awards for businesses and entrepreneurs in Maharashtra are open for entries from the entire state.
The MCCIA Annual Awards cover significant contributions in areas of innovation and Entrepreneurship, Green Initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility among other verticals. The Awards for New Products and Design along with the Award for MSME in Defense Production recognize innovation in key areas. MCCIA also administers an award for Women entrepreneurs and first generation successful entrepreneurs. These prestigious awards envision a rich culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Today Maharashtra and Pune region is specific have hundreds of innovators and companies, especially MSMEs who were inspired by these awards over the past seven decades.
“The award winners in past have highlighted how it helped them to boost their profile. It is wonderful when we meet some of these medium size companies that used to be micro or small when they won the award. There are quite a few of them over the past seven decades and hence we won’t single out one or another”, said Sudhir Mehta, president, MCCIA.
