Pune, 10th June 2024: Following the Lok Sabha elections in Baramati, where Sharad Pawar’s faction secured victory, the camp led by Ajit Pawar has intensified efforts to nominate Sunetra Pawar, Ajit Pawar’s wife, to the Rajya Sabha. On the occasion of NCP’s founding day, office bearers from Ajit Pawar’s camp, including NCP Pune City President Deepak Mankar and Working President Pradeep Deshmukh, urged Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar, to consider nominating Sunetra Pawar to the Rajya Sabha. Their proposal includes elevating her to the position of Union Minister, a move they believe will inspire NCP activists.
