Pune Airport Struggles: 22 Flights Cancelled in 36-Hour Weather Crisis

Pune, 29th December 2023: In a challenging turn of events, Pune Airport encountered a wave of flight cancellations due to adverse weather conditions over the last 36 hours. According to Santosh Dhoke, the Airport Director, a total of 22 flights faced cancellation during this period, presenting a significant disruption to travel schedules.

Yesterday, 14 flights bore the brunt of inclement weather, resulting in their cancellation. Today, an additional 8 flights were forced to be grounded, comprising 5 arrivals and 3 departures.
