Pune Airport Now Connected to 35 Domestic Destinations, Including New Routes to Chennai, Indore, and Dehradun; More Flights to Dubai, Bangkok

Pune, 25th October 2024: Pune Airport has announced several new domestic and international flight routes as part of its Winter Schedule 2024-25. According to Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke, the new schedule includes additional flights and new connections that will enhance both domestic and international travel options for passengers.

“For the first time, Pune is now directly connected to Bhopal with Indigo Airlines introducing a daily direct flight between Pune and Bhopal. In addition, Indigo has also started a direct flight from Pune to Trivandrum,” said Dhoke.

The airport has also added more flights to cities like Chennai, Indore, Ahmedabad, and Dehradun. With these new routes, Pune Airport now connects to a total of 35 domestic destinations, offering passengers increased flexibility and travel options.

“Indigo Airlines has been a significant contributor to our expanded domestic network,” Dhoke added. “Alongside the new routes, Air India Express is also enhancing its services by starting direct flights to Chennai and Kochi.”

On the international front, Dhoke revealed that Indigo and Air India Express are launching new international flights from Pune. Both airlines will now operate direct flights from Pune to Bangkok. Additionally, Indigo is set to introduce a direct flight from Pune to Dubai, further strengthening the airport’s international connectivity.

“With the introduction of these flights, Pune Airport is now connected to three international destinations: Singapore, Dubai, and Bangkok,” Dhoke said, highlighting the airport’s growing role as a key hub for both domestic and international travelers.
