Pune: Action On Traffic Police Official For Creating Terror With Sword In Drunken State
Vishrantwadi, 25th April 2023: An incident took place in the Vishrantwadi area of Pune where a drunken policeman tried to create terror using a Sword on the road. A case has been registered at the Vishrantwadi police station against the policeman in this regard. Also, suspension action has been taken against the policeman.
According to the information given by the police, Karan Jadhav was a policeman working in the Mundhwa Traffic Branch. While in a drunken state, Karan Jadhav started creating terror in Janata Raja Chowk in the Dhanori area with a sword.
After that, the police registered a case against him in the case of possession of illegal weapons, causing a disturbance in public places. Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Kumar Magar (Traffic) also ordered the suspension of Jadhav for tarnishing the image of the police force. Police are conducting further investigation.
