Pune: Action Against Unauthorized Hoardings In Baramati; Municipality Takes Down Nine Hoardings In One Day

Baramati, 27th May 2022: The Baramati municipality started action against unauthorized hoardings in the municipal area on Friday (26th May). During the day, the municipality took down nine hoardings on Morgaon Road. There are as many as 107 unauthorized hoardings in the working area and the municipality will take action against all these hoarding holders, informed the Chief Officer Mahesh Rokade.

Taking this matter seriously, the municipal administration started removing the hoarding on Friday morning. Under the leadership of Rokde, a team of Anti-Encroachment Department employees along with Rajendra Sonawane, and Sunil Dhumal were taking action with the help of cranes and gas cutters. Reportedly, it took a long time to take down the hoarding.

Mahesh Rokde said that all the unauthorized hoardings will be taken down in the next few days. Meanwhile, municipal sources also said that all the expenses incurred for removing the hoardings will be recovered from the respective people who ordered the specific hoardings to be put.
