Pune: Abeda Inamdar Senior College Students Launch 10 Startups At Azam Campus
Camp, 28th October 2023: Abeda Inamdar Senior College at Azam Campus, Pune, celebrated the inauguration of ten student-led startups on the 28th of October. The ceremony was graced by the Principal of the college, Professor Dr. Shaila Bootwala.
These innovative ventures were incubated within the college’s startup cell, a hub for nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among students. Dr. Khalid Arshad, the Head of the Startup Cell, highlighted that all the requisite documentation for these startups has been meticulously prepared. This documentation not only paves the way for potential investments through government venture capital schemes but also opens doors for support from other investors.
Among the distinguished guests present at the inauguration were Dr. MG Mulla, the Dean of Abeda Inamdar Senior College Autonomous Commerce Department, Dr. Khurshid Ahmed, Dean of Science, Dr. Shakeela Siddavartham, Dean of Computer Applications, and Dr. Waheeda Sheikh, Dean of Arts. The event also saw the participation of IQAC Head Dr. Gauri Deosthale and Dr. Aftab Alam, the CEO of Examinations.
The program concluded with the Principal expressing her best wishes to the student entrepreneurs, anticipating substantial cash prizes for their commendable efforts in achieving profitability.
