Under the newly introduced system, citizens will no longer have to endure the hassle of visiting Talathi’s office for essential documents related to land ownership. The ‘7/12’ extract, a vital land record, and the ‘8A’ version can now be obtained effortlessly at Maha E-Seva Kendras at a nominal fee of Rs 25.

To enhance accessibility, the State Government has extended these services not only through Maha E-Seva Kendras but also through the ‘Setu’ initiative. Additionally, the documents are available on the ‘Aaple Sarkar’ portal, catering to the diverse needs of citizens and offering a more efficient and transparent process.

The move aims to address previous challenges faced by common people, including delays in obtaining documents and inconveniences caused by Talathi’s absence. With the new system in place, citizens can save both time and money, as the services are now streamlined, ensuring a more efficient and prompt delivery of crucial land-related documents.
