Pune : 42 Vehicles Carrying Children To School Without Valid Permit Penalised By RTO, 86 Goods Vehicles And 54 Autorickshaws Also Penalised
Pune 6th Sept 2023: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Pune has started a special drive against the vehicles violating the norms in the district. Under the special drive, the RTO officials have also caught vehicles transporting children to schools without valid permit.
The flying squads of the RTO caught 42 such vehicles on Wednesday for carrying students without valid permit. The officials also initiated action against goods vehicles carrying material without tarpaulin cover. A total 86 such vehicles were penalised by the RTO officials in a day. The flying squads members also caught a total of 54 auto rickshaws operating in the region for various violations.
The officials of the RTO have started a special drive in the region from today. The dedicated flying squads have started initiating action against vehicles violating the norms.
