Pune: 16-Year-Old Driver’s Tanker Hits Scooter, Two Injured
Kondhwa, 29th June 2024: A morning practice session turned tragic for Geeta Santosh Dhume (41) when her Activa scooter was hit by a water tanker near Ever Joy Society on NIBM Road, Kondhwa. The incident occurred today around 6:30 am and involved a tanker driven by a 16-year-old.
Geeta, a resident of Pisoli, was accompanied by a student from her wrestling academy when the collision happened. The water tanker struck her two-wheeler from behind, resulting in injuries to Geeta and Soni Rathod.
Police have impounded both vehicles for further investigation into the accident. A police officer confirmed that legal actions have been initiated in response to the incident.
