Pune: 1,337 Flats Up for Lottery in PMRDA’s Affordable Housing Scheme

Pune, 26th October 2024: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (PMRDA) scheme for remaining flats under the Affordable Housing Scheme at Peth No. 12 and Peth No. 30-32 is receiving an enthusiastic response. According to the PMRDA website, 1,932 citizens have completed the preliminary registration process for the flats.

PMRDA has conducted a lottery for the remaining 1,337 flats. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Peth No. 12, there are 47 flats available for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 614 flats for the Low-Income Group (LIG), and 347 flats under the Affordable Housing Scheme at Peth No. 30-32. Additionally, there are 329 flats available for the LIG category, bringing the total to 1,337 flats for the lottery.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the size of the flats for the Economically Weaker Section is 29.55 square meters, with a price of ₹15,74,424. The area of the flats in the Low-Income Group is 59.27 square meters, priced at ₹35,57,200. Under the Affordable Housing Scheme, the flats have an area of 25.52 square meters and a price of ₹20,90,771, while the LIG flats measure 34.57 square meters, priced at ₹28,32,208. The PMRDA administration has confirmed that 1,932 citizens have registered on the website thus far.

Of these, 299 citizens have completed their applications, and 218 applicants have paid the deposit amount, with their completed applications received by PMRDA. The remaining applications are incomplete due to a lack of necessary documentation; however, these individuals have been pre-registered. The deadline for applying for affordable housing is 12th November.
