Prohibitory action against one lakh 50 thousand 855 persons in state

After imposition of Model Code of Conduct, prohibitory action has been taken against one lakh 50 thousand 855 people for law and security in the state between October 6 and November 14, 2018. Meanwhile, 43 thousand 340 non-bailable warrants have been issued. In addition, 4 thousand 225 illegal weapons have been seized and 2 lakh 61 thousand 513 weapons have been deposited in the police stations.
Seventeen lakh 96 thousand 34 cases have been registered under property defacement out of which action has been taken in 17 lakh 42 thousand 20 cases have been proceeded. Out of 13 lakh 11 thousand 981 cases registered, 13 lakh 45 thousand 979 cases have been taken up under government property defacement. Out of 4 lakh 50 thousand 55 cases registered under private property defacement, 4 lakh 30 thousand 39 cases have been processed. During this period 12 thousand 270 cases have been registered over misuse of vehicles.
