Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveils Rs 6,100 Crore Development Projects In Warangal, Telangana

Warangal, India, 8th July 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Warangal, Telangana, where he inaugurated a series of development projects worth over Rs 6,100 crores. During a public meeting, PM Modi emphasized the Central government’s commitment to enhancing connectivity infrastructure in Telangana, which will greatly benefit the state’s industrial and tourism sectors. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to establish a comprehensive national highway network, stating that Telangana is rapidly becoming an economic hub.

The prime minister also expressed his optimism about the railway wagon manufacturing unit at Kazipet, emphasizing its contribution to the Make in India initiative. The estimated cost of Rs 500 crore project will bolster wagon manufacturing capacity and promote local employment opportunities while facilitating the development of ancillary units in the vicinity.

In addition to the inauguration, PM Modi visited the renowned Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal, where he performed puja and offered prayers.

Earlier in the day, the prime minister took to Twitter to announce his visit to Warangal and underscore the significance of the development projects, which encompass various sectors such as highways and railways. He expressed his confidence that these initiatives would bring substantial benefits to the people of Telangana.

This visit marks PM Modi’s third trip to the poll-bound state this year, following his visits in January and April.
