Prime Minister Narendra Modi And NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar To Share Stage In Pune On August 1
Pune, 10th July 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to receive the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak National Award on August 1, 2023, presented by the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Trust. The announcement was made during a press conference today by Dr Deepak Tilak and Dr Rohit Tilak, the Chairman of Tilak Smarak Trust. The award, which commemorates the 103rd death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak, will be conferred on Prime Minister Modi in a grand ceremony held at the Tilak Maharashtra University premises in Pune.
The Lokmanya Tilak National Award, now in its 41st year, recognizes exceptional contributions to society. In addition to a memento and a certificate, the award includes a cash prize of one lakh rupees.
Distinguished guests expected to attend the ceremony as chief guests include NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar. Trustee Sushil Kumar Shinde will also be present on this auspicious occasion.
The Lokmanya Tilak National Award holds great significance as it honors the memory and legacy of Lokmanya Tilak, a prominent figure in Indian history.
