PMPML to ply 819 extra buses during Ganeshotsav
Pune: About 819 more buses have been planned for the convenience of devotees during the Ganesh Festival, by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal (PMPML). The buses will be running specially in the night between 13 and 23 September.
During Ganeshotsav, there is a huge number of devotees coming to the city from the suburbs and outside of the city. There is a crowd to see the various mandals till late in the night. In the first phase for the convenience of these devotees, from 13 to 16 September 170 and in the second phase, as many as 649 buses have been planned according to the requirement of passengers between 17 and 23 September.
The fare will be Rs 5 extra in special buses plying after 10 pm. The passholders will be allowed to travel till midnight only. The PMPML buses till 1 am during the festival period. Roads in the central part of the city are closed at night, so the buses will ply on diversion routes.

1. Swargate bus stand – Dhankawadi, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Ambegaon, Upper Indiranagar, Sukhsagar Nagar, Marketyard, Pune Station, Sangvi, Alandi
2. Nataraj Hotel- Wadgaon, Dhayri, Sinhgad, Khanapur
3. Swargate Depot – Hadapsar, Kondwa
4. Mahatma Gandhi bus stand – Kondhwa Khurd, Kondhwa Burduk, Salunkhe Vihar
5. Hadapsar Gadital-Swargate, Pune station, Manpa Bhawan, Saswad, Urali Kanchan, Manjari, Theur, Wadki village, Fursungi, Devachi Uruli.
6. Sasoon road – Vishrantwadi, Dhanori, Vidyanagar, Viman Nagar, Wadgaon Sheri, Alandi.
7. Dengle Bridge- Lohagaon, Wadgaon Sheri, Mundhwa Village, Shubham Society, Anand Park, Talegaon Dhamdhere, Hadapsar.
8. Manpa Bhavan- Bhosari, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Alandi, Dehugaon, Vishrantwadi, Vidyanagar, Pashan, Sutarwadi, Balewadi, Mhalunga Village, Talegaon Dabhade, Sangvi, Pimple Gurav, Pradhikaran, Khadki Bazar.
9. Congress Bhawan- Karvenagar, Malwadi, Kondvagate, Kothrud Depot
10. Deccan Gymkhana- Karvenagar, Malwadi, Kondhwa Gate, Gokhale Nagar, Kothrud Depot
11. Manpa riverside- Balewadi, Pashan, Sutarwadi, Abhinav College
