Pune – The state government on Wednesday evening transferred Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited chief Tukaram Mundhe as Nashik municipal commissioner.
Mundhe is a 2005 batch IAS officer who is a fearless civil servant in Maharashtra who has never cared for the consequences while discharging his duties. He has been transferred 10 times in the past 12 years as a result of the audacious steps he has taken in each of his postings.

In place of Mundhe, government has appointed Nayana Gunde as the chairperson and managing director (CMD) of PMPML.
