PMC and Pune Police Traffic Branch Meet to Address City Traffic Issues

Pune, 30th July 2024: To address the traffic issues in Pune, particularly under the 32 Roads Traffic Improvement Programme, a meeting was held today between the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and the Pune Police Traffic Branch at PMC Bhavan.

The meeting was attended by PMC Commissioner Dr Rajendra Bhosale, Additional Commissioner of Police (East) Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rohidas Pawar, Chief Engineer of PMC Road Department Aniruddha Pawaskar, in-charge officials of the Traffic Branch, engineers, and other officials of PMC, along with Meta Arch Pvt Ltd Chief Pravin Patil and Dilip Rode.

During the meeting, actions to be taken on the main roads of Pune city and engineering and scientific solutions for important intersections causing traffic jams were discussed. It was agreed to formulate a plan for the improvements to be implemented by the PMC and the Traffic Branch.
