Pimpri Chinchwad: Woman Arrested in Connection with Liquor Production in Moshi
Moshi, 18th February 2024: The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Pimpri Chinchwad Crime Branch conducted a raid on a brewery located along the banks of the Indrayani River in Moshi, under the jurisdiction of MIDC Bhosari Police Station. This operation took place on Saturday (17th February) at approximately 10:45 am.
Police Constable Vijay Daundkar has filed a complaint at the MIDC Bhosari police station concerning this matter. A case has been registered against a woman in connection with the incident.
According to Police, the accused woman was involved in the preparation of chemicals to produce 9,800 litres of country-made liquor. Acting on information received, the Anti-Narcotics Cell conducted a raid on the brewery at approximately 10:45 am on Saturday. During this operation, the police seized and destroyed materials valued at Rs. 1,96,130.
MIDC Bhosari police are currently investigating the matter further.
