Pimpri Chinchwad: Short Circuit Sparks Fierce Fire at Bank of Baroda Branch in Kharalwadi
Pimpri, 6th May 2023: A branch of Bank of Baroda located in the Kharalwadi area of Pimpri Chinchwad experienced a short circuit that resulted in a fierce fire early on Saturday.
The furniture and documents of the bank were burnt, but fortunately, no casualties were reported. The fire broke out around 4 am and was immediately reported to the fire brigade by the security guard.
The concerned officials have stated that two fire brigade vehicles promptly arrived at the scene and were able to bring the fire under control. The fire was contained in time, preventing any loss of life, but there has been a significant loss of around 15 thousand rupees worth of property damage.
The Bank of Baroda has assured its customers that their deposits and accounts are secure. The bank has also announced that it will investigate the cause of the fire and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
