PCMC Goes Hard Against Construction Firm for Road Collapse in Pimple Saudagar, Owner and Architect Booked
Sangvi 23rd July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to go hard against the construction firm owner for negligence that led to road collapse in Pimple Saudagar area on July 20. The live video of road collapse has gone viral on social media platforms. In order to take a strict action against the construction firm owner and the other members, the civic body has lodged a complaint with police for negligence and damage to the public road.
According to police, the owner of Sukkhwani Ramchandani LLP Ghanshyam Sukhwani, Sanjay Ramchandani and architect Vishal Bafna have been booked in the matter. A case in this regard has been registered at Sangvi police station under sections 336, 431, 432 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act 1984. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
