PCMC: Commissioner Hardikar Directs Officers To Focus On Tax Collection

Pimpri, January 8, 2021: Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar ordered the officers to start the planning to sort the pending work as the financial year is ending. He ordered officers yesterday to focus on tax collection and management of water supply.

Hardikar was felicitated by Mayor Usha Dhore for his promotion as Secretary. Standing Committee Chairman Santosh Londhe, Additional Commissioner Ajit Pawar, Deputy Director of Town Planning R. M. Pawar, Chief Auditor Amod Kumbhojkar, City Engineer Rajan Patil, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Jitendra Kolambe, Health Medical Officer Dr K. Anil Roy, Chief Information and Technology Officer Nilkanth Poman, Assistant City Engineer Shrikant Savane, Ramdas Tambe, Deputy Commissioner Mangesh Chitale, Ajay Charthankar, Manoj Lonakar, Municipal Secretary Ulhas Jagtap, Chief Security Officer Uday Jarande, all Assistant Commissioners, all Field Officers were present at the event which was held at the Municipal Corporation’s main administrative building at Pimpri.

Dhore said the work done by Commissioner Hardikar to improve the environment in the adverse conditions of Corona is commendable. During the Corona period, Commissioner Hardikar made careful and timely planning. This work was important in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Citizens and police also cooperated well with the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) during this period.

“The money paid by the taxpayers should be utilised carefully. Urgent planning should be done to provide abundant pure water to the citizens by managing water supply. Every department should take care that no work will be pending”, she added.
