PCMC: 321 new COVID patients reported, 174 discharged in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, July 5, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 321 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas till 4.45 pm today. Also, four people died while 174 got discharged from hospitals.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4288 out of which 2543 have been cured while 61 have died. 1674 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 101 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 32 non-PCMC residents have died while 222 have been cured.

 

State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 206,619. Today, newly 6555 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 3658 patients have been cured today. Till now 1,11,740 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals while there are still 86,040 active patients in the state. Today 151 people died taking the total deaths to 8822 till now.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 673,165 across the country. Out of this, 409,082 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 19,268 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 244,814 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
