PCMC: 246 New Covid Positive Cases, 09 Deaths Today

Pimpri, 12 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 246 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 609 people got discharged from hospitals while 09 people died today. According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 84,031 out of which 78,758 have recovered while 1441 have died. 2554 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 421 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 566 have died and 5552 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,120,538  across the country. Out of this, 61,49,535 have recovered and discharged from hospitals while 109,150 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 861,853 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
