PCMC: 244 New Covid Positive Cases, 199 Discharged Today

Pimpri, 21 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 244 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 199 people got discharged from hospitals while 01 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 86,114 out of which 82,317 have recovered while 1493 have died. 1376 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 286 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 616 have died and 6149 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,651,107 across the country. Out of this, 67,95,103 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 115,914 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 740,090 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
