Pune, 19th October 2024: The French Institute of India, in association with the Alliance Française Network, is bringing an exhilarating experience for Punekars—the RoZéO air show. This unique performance, which showcased French culture at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, promises to be a visual treat.

The RoZéO air show, presented by the French company Gratte Ciel, will take place on 20th October 2024 at Amanora Mall, Magarpatta, Hadapsar, at 5:30 PM. At a press conference held at the Alliance Française office, Stéphane Girard, the coordinator, along with Amélie Vijal, the Director of Alliance Française Pune, announced that the show will be free of cost for all attendees on Saturday.

Amélie Vijal added that with RoZéO and other exciting cultural productions, the Alliance Française network is further strengthening artistic exchanges between India and France. This innovative creation serves as a bond, connecting the artistic communities of both countries and showcasing French works of art.

RoZéO is a captivating live performance, co-created by Stéphane Girard and Cami Baumier, with designs by Pauline Frémaux and artwork by Anne Jonathan. The performance enchants audiences with poetic, delicate movements as artists perform high in the air. Suspended on metal poles at least 6 meters tall, the figures sway gracefully, reminiscent of the reedbeds of the Camargue. This beautiful 42-minute show features electronic music, field recordings, and rhythmic beats, creating a meditative atmosphere that makes the audience feel as though art and nature have seamlessly merged.

RoZéO first premiered in 2023 and gained international acclaim after its performance at the Olympics, as part of the inaugural program designed by Artistic Director Thomas Jolly.
