Dubai, 22nd July 2024: According to reports from Pakistani media, renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been detained in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following a defamation complaint lodged by his former manager, Salman Ahmed. Sources from the Dubai police have confirmed that Ahmed filed the complaint with local authorities.
The situation stems from a recent conflict between Rahat and Ahmed, with Rahat having terminated Ahmed’s services several months prior. Additionally, it has come to light that both Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Salman Ahmed have initiated legal actions against each other.
