Over 83,000 Cases Settled In National Lok Adalat, Pune District Ranks First In Resolving Maximum Cases

Pune, 11th December 2023: A total of 83 thousand 817 cases of which 33 thousand 359 are pending and 50 thousand 458 before admission were settled in Pune district during the ‘National Lok Adalat’ held yesterday.
Sonal Patil, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority has informed that Pune district has consistently maintained the first rank in resolving the maximum number of cases in the Lok Adalat.
A Lok Adalat is a unique platform where disputes are resolved quickly and affordably.
The successful disposal of a large number of cases in Lok Adalat is a testament to the proactive approach of the court and its ability to reduce the burden on the judiciary. This step is important to reduce backlog of cases and ensure timely delivery of justice.
Secretary of District Legal Service Authority Sonal Patil informed that National Lok Adalat is getting good response in the district and cooperation of all judicial officers, all taluka lawyers association of district, various government and social organizations, members, officers and employees of District Legal Service Authority to make Lok Adalat successful.
