Ostwal spins VVCA into finals at Vision Trophy cricket tournament

Pune, March 31: Vicky Ostwal claimed 5 wickets for 50 runs to run through the Vision Academy and help Varroc Vengsarkar Cricket Academy to a big win and ticket into the finals of the 1st Edition of Vision Trophy Open cricket tournament organized by Vision Cricket Academy and played at Vision Sports Centre, Sinhagad Road, Pune.
Continuing from 126 runs Varroc 8th wicket partnership of 109 runs in 154 balls between Rohit Chudhari(80runs) and Om Bhabad(42runs) helped VVCA to a score of 236 before being bowled out.
Facing a lead of 96 runs Vision Cricket Academy could put on 148 runs before being bowled out. Vicky Ostwal who claimed 6 wickets in the first innings was the wrecker in chief again claiming 5 wickets giving away 50 runs. Chasing 53 runs to win, set by Vision Academy the VVCA openers made short work of the score and took the team into the final with a 10 wicket win.
