Only 5 Out Of 36 MSRTC Bus Stands In Pune Division Are in Good Condition: Survey
Pune 13th August 2023: A survey of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses conducted recently has revealed shocking details as only 5 out of 36 Bus Stands in the Pune division were found to be in good condition while 11 of them were found in bad condition. The survey was conducted under ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Swachh and Sundar ST Stand’ campaign on the occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence.
The campaign is part of competition under which the Best ST Stands will be rewarded with Rs 50, 25 and 10 Lakh. The competition is organised in six rounds that will be conducted in one year and based on that finalists will be announced.
According to the survey report, condition of 5 ST stands in Pune division was found good, 20 were found in medium condition while 11 were found in a bad condition. The survey was conducted by the divisional committee in May and July this year.
