Ongoing Strike Of Staff Of Pune University Results In Education Loss Of Students

Pune, 20th February 2023: The employees of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) have been on indefinite strike for the past few days. All the departments of the university are closed, and the students are suffering educational loss due to the closure of the departments during the examination.
Mahadev Ranga, President of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), SPPU, informed that the strike is causing education loss. Along with this, students living in the hostel and coming from other districts and states are leaving for their homes due to the said protest.
“We request Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to consider the demands of the employees of the educational sector and stop the educational loss of the students,” said Ranga.
