New Delhi, 10th August 2024: Ola Electric has released a teaser for its first electric bike, providing a glimpse of its design and features. The teaser highlights key elements like the bike’s headlights, seat, and taillight. The electric vehicle is expected to be unveiled during Ola’s annual event on 15th August, marking the company’s entry into the electric motorcycle market. The teaser builds anticipation as Ola prepares to reveal more about its latest innovation in the two-wheeler segment.

Ola Electric, continuing its tradition, is set to host its annual event on 15th August, where it is likely to introduce its first electric bike. Last year, Ola showcased four different electric motorcycles across various segments. This time, expectations are high for the unveiling of a fully developed electric bike. The newly released teaser reveals significant aspects of the bike’s design, offering a sneak peek into what’s to come.

The bike is believed to be the production variant of the previously showcased Roadster. According to Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, the bike’s details were initially kept under wraps to maintain secrecy until the official launch. The teaser reveals the front, seat, back, and sides of the bike, with particular emphasis on the headlights, seat, and taillight.

Earlier previews from Ola Electric hinted at the inclusion of a twin-pod LED headlight and specialized rear view mirrors. The design suggests that Ola’s first electric bike may be introduced in a street naked variant, appealing to a broad range of riders.

Additionally, Ola Electric has confirmed that the bike will be equipped with a large battery, developed at the company’s new facility dedicated to electric two-wheeler battery production. Aggarwal has hinted that this model will feature the largest battery in its segment, offering an extended range compared to competitors, positioning Ola Electric as a strong contender in the market.
