Delhi, 26th February 2023: Nokia has revealed a new logo that represents the company’s shift in focus towards becoming a provider of digital infrastructure and cloud services. The iconic “connecting hands” logo that has been synonymous with Nokia for over three decades will be replaced with a simpler design featuring the company’s name in bold letters. This move aims to reflect Nokia’s transformation from a mobile phone manufacturer to a technology and services company.

Pekka Lundmark, Nokia’s CEO, stated that the new logo signifies “a fresh start and a new direction for Nokia as we transition to a new phase in our history.” The company’s shift in strategy is driven by the increasing demand for cloud services and 5G infrastructure, and Nokia plans to invest significantly in these areas in the upcoming years.

The new logo also represents Nokia’s efforts to distance itself from its previous struggles in the mobile phone market, where it faced fierce competition from rivals such as Samsung and Apple. Since selling its mobile phone business to Microsoft, Nokia has been focusing on developing its telecommunications infrastructure and services.

The new logo will gradually be incorporated across Nokia’s digital and physical assets over the next few months. Nokia hopes that the rebranding will enable it to better communicate its new strategy and position itself as a leader in digital infrastructure and cloud services
