No Complete Lockdown in Pune Again: PMC Commissioner

Pune, September 4, 2020: Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar has clarified that there is no plan for complete lockdown again in Pune city. He clarified after it was learnt that people are forwarding messages on WhatsApp and social media about the complete lockdown.

He further said that PMC has revised the list of micro containment zones. It seems people have misinterpreted that order. However, only seven square kilometers of Pune city is in the containment zones (total 74 micro-containment zones), the municipal commissioner said.
