New Police Stations Operational in Pune; Senior Inspectors Reassigned

Pune, 12th October 2024: Yesterday, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, inaugurated seven new police stations under the Pune City Police Commissionerate and four under the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. With these new stations now operational, the need for police personnel has led to several changes in the in-charges of various police stations under the Pune Police Commissionerate.

The following changes have been announced:

– Sharad Zine, Police Inspector (Crime) at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, will now serve as Senior Police Inspector in charge of the newly established Ambegaon Police Station.
– Atul Bhos, Police Inspector (Crime) at Sinhagad Road Police Station, will be the Senior Police Inspector in charge of Nanded City Police Station.
– Mahesh Balkotgi, Senior Police Inspector at Chaturshringi Police Station, will now take charge as Senior Police Inspector of Baner Police Station.
– Vijayanand Patil, Police Inspector (Crime) at Chaturshringi Police Station, will now become the Senior Police Inspector in charge of Chaturshringi Police Station.
– Sanjay Chavan, Senior Police Inspector at Chandan Nagar Police Station, will now oversee Kharadi Police Station as Senior Police Inspector.
– Anil Mane, Police Inspector (Crime) at Chandan Nagar Police Station, will now serve as Senior Police Inspector in charge of Chandan Nagar Police Station.
– Pandit Rejitwad, Senior Police Inspector at Lonikand Police Station, will now take charge of Wagholi Police Station as its in-charge.
– Sarjerao Kumbhar, Police Inspector (Crime) at Airport Police Station, will now be the Senior Police Inspector in charge of Lonikand Police Station.
– Mangal Modhawe, Senior Police Inspector at Bibwewadi Police Station, will now oversee Phursungi Police Station as Senior Police Inspector.
– Shankar Salunkhe, Police Inspector (Crime) at Vishrantwadi Police Station, will now become the Senior Police Inspector in charge of Bibwewadi Police Station.
– Mansingh Patil, Police Inspector (Crime) at Kondhwa Police Station, will take charge as Senior Police Inspector of Kalepadal Police Station.
