New Delhi, 5th July 2021: The country’s leading automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to introduce the new Nio avatar of its famous sports utility vehicle (SUV) Mahindra Bolero in the domestic market. The new Bolero will be based on the company’s current model TUV300 and will be reaching the showrooms very soon. The company has made many major changes which makes it different from the regular model.

As far as the design and looks are concerned, the front look of the Bolero Neo is very similar to the TUV300. It gets a new design headlight, a new front bumper and LED daytime running lights. Some parts of the classic model can also be seen in the design of the new Bolero Neo. Like a clam-shell bonnet, square-off, flared wheel arches and a thicker trim piece that will be attached to the fenders. Apart from this, no major changes are expected in the side and rear looks. But its front look will be quite sharp and aggressive, which will make it look better.

In Bolero Neo, the company can use a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine. Which generates 100hp power and 240Nm torque. This engine can be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, the company can also offer fuel-saving engine start/stop technology, which was seen in the TUV300.

According to media reports, the company can place the new Bolero Neo slightly above the standard model. Although it is difficult to say anything about its price before the launch, experts believe that the company can launch it between Rs 9 to 12 lakhs. The company plans to introduce 12 new models in the market in the next 5 years and this new Bolero Neo is one of them.
