Neet Ug Re-Exam Results Declared, NTA Releases Scorecards For 813 Candidates

Pune, 1st July 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the NEET UG re-exam held on June 23 for 1,563 candidates seeking admissions in medical, dental, AYUSH, and nursing undergraduate programs. The results, declared today, Monday, July 1, include scorecards for 813 candidates who appeared for the re-exam. The re-exam was conducted following controversies surrounding the initial NEET UG 2024 results released on June 4.

The NTA conducted the re-exam for 1,563 candidates, but only 813 candidates took the test. These candidates can check their results on the NEET UG 2024 exam portal, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, by logging in with their application number and date of birth details. The final answer key for the re-exam was released by NTA on June 28, and objections were invited from candidates until June 29.

The re-exam was necessary due to the controversy over grace marks given to several candidates in the initial NEET UG 2024 results. The National Testing Agency (NTA) informed the Supreme Court about the decision to conduct a re-exam during the hearing of various related petitions. Consequently, the re-exam was conducted on June 23, and the results were initially scheduled to be released by June 30. However, the results were delayed and finally declared today.

“The re-exam was conducted smoothly, and we ensured that all concerns raised by the candidates were addressed. We are committed to maintaining the integrity and transparency of the examination process,” said an NTA spokesperson.

Candidates who appeared for the re-exam can now access their scorecards online and proceed with the admission process. The NEET UG 2024 exam, held on May 5, was marred by controversies and objections, leading to the re-exam for affected candidates. The re-exam results are expected to provide a fair and accurate assessment for those who participated.
