Neet Ug 2024: Counselling For Central Institutes And AIQ Seats From August 14

Pune, 30th July 2024: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) announced on Monday, July 29, that the NEET UG 2024 Counselling for central universities, centrally funded medical education institutes, and 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in state medical colleges will start on August 14. This year, the counseling will be held in four phases, running from August 14 to October 30. This is crucial for millions of candidates declared successful in the NEET UG 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) who are awaiting admission to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and nursing undergraduate (BSc Nursing) courses.

The first phase of registration for NEET UG 2024 counseling will begin on August 14, with the last date set for August 21 at noon. Candidates can pay the registration fee until 3 PM on August 21. The choice filling and locking for preferred seats will occur from August 16 to August 20, ending at 11:55 PM. The MCC will complete the seat allotment process from August 21 to 22, and results will be announced on August 23. Candidates allotted seats in the first round must report to their respective institutes between August 24 and 29. Institutes can verify the details shared by the MCC by August 30 and 31.

The second phase of counseling will begin on September 5 for seats remaining after the first phase. Registration and choice filling and locking must be completed by September 10. The results for round two will be declared on September 13, and candidates must report to their allotted colleges between September 14 and 20. The entire counseling process aims to streamline admissions and ensure that all seats are filled efficiently across the country.
