Naseeruddin Shah: ’20 Crore Muslims Of The Country Will Not End Just Like This’

New Delhi, 30th December 2021: Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has reacted to the atmosphere created among Muslims under the Modi government. He has given a detailed response to the Dharam Sansad in Haridwar and has expressed his opinion in a very unflattering manner.

Naseeruddin Shah said “if he knows what he is talking about then I am surprised that he is appealing for a civil war. These 20 crore people of the country will not just end like this. They will fight. Muslims will not give up.”

In an interview with ‘The Wire’, Naseeruddin Shah said, “Attempts are being made to create fear among Muslims, but Muslims will not give up. Muslims will face it because we have to save our home, we have to save our motherland, we have to save our family, we have to save our children.”

The actor said that he is not talking about religion because religion is easily endangered. He said that efforts are being made to marginalize Muslims. Efforts are being made to make Muslims feel insecure. He was curious to see what would happen to those who incited violence against Muslims.

Later he said that nothing will happen to them. He is not surprised by this government. “This is obviously not surprising,” he said.
