Narendra Modi Unanimously Chosen as NDA’s Prime Ministerial Candidate for Third Term
New Delhi, 05 June 2024: Following the decisive victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the coalition’s leaders convened on Wednesday, June 5th, to formally endorse Narendra Modi as their candidate for the post of Prime Minister. The meeting, attended by representatives from 16 parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), solidified Modi’s leadership role within the alliance for a historic third consecutive term.
With the NDA securing a commanding 293 seats in the Lok Sabha, compared to the India Alliance’s 234 seats, the stage was set for Modi’s re-election as Prime Minister.
