Nagpur: Sonu Sood’s Wife Injured in Car Accident on Wardha Road Flyover

Nagpur, 26th March 2025: Sonali Sood, wife of actor Sonu Sood and a film producer, sustained injuries in a car accident late Monday night along with her sister, Sunita Salve. The mishap occurred on the Wardha Road flyover in Nagpur when their vehicle, driven by Sunita’s son, Sidharth, collided with a truck, according to police sources.

As per reports, Sonali and her family were on their way to Byramji Town after picking up a relative from Nagpur airport when the accident took place. By the time authorities arrived at the scene, the truck involved in the collision was no longer present. “It is likely that the truck was not parked but moving at a slow speed,” an officer stated.

Initial investigations suggest that another car had overtaken Sidharth’s vehicle moments before the crash. The sudden lane change by the other driver caused a near-miss with the truck, but the vehicle managed to avoid impact. However, this maneuver caught Sidharth off guard, leading to the collision.

Sonali, a Nagpur native, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital. Further investigations into the accident are ongoing.
