Mystery Surrounds Pune Woman’s Death: Khadak Police Investigate Suspicious Circumstances
Pune, 8th April 2024: A tragic incident has unfolded in Pune, where a young woman, Abhilasha Mittal, aged 27, who was preparing for a competitive examination, was found dead in her hostel room. The shocking discovery occurred at a hostel located in Guruwar Peth. The Khadak Police have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter, particularly as there were indications of injury on the girl’s body. A case of sudden death has been registered at the Khadak Police Station.
According to the police report, Abhilasha Mittal, originally from Washim, had arrived in Pune last month to pursue her exam preparations. She had been residing in a hostel situated in Guruwar Peth. On Monday morning, she was discovered alone in her room, where she had hanged herself after closing the door. When her friend attempted to reach her, receiving no response raised concerns, prompting them to alert the Khadak Police.
Upon their arrival, the police broke open the door and found Abhilasha deceased. The presence of a wound on her body has intensified the investigation. Police authorities have assured that the post-mortem report will shed light on the exact cause of death. Relatives and friends are currently being investigated to uncover any potential leads or factors contributing to this incident.
