Murder in Pimpri Chinchwad: Woman Fatally Stabbed, Police Launch Manhunt

Pimpri Chinchwad, 17th October 2024: A woman working at a hotel was murdered in Pimpri Chinchwad yesterday morning. Originally from Belgaum, her husband and children lived there, and she earned a living by working at a restaurant in the Chinchwad area. The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Navnath Keskar, aged 29.

According to Senior Police Inspector Jitendra Koli, she worked at a restaurant in Walhekarwadi. An unknown person stabbed her in the stomach with a sharp weapon, leading to her death. The assailant fled the scene afterwards. Neighbours informed the police around 11 AM.

The police arrived quickly and took her to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival. Since no valuable items were stolen from the residence, the police believe theft was not the motive. A suspect has been identified, and the police are actively pursuing the individual. Chinchwad Police will continue to investigate.
