Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Gets Nearly 5 Lakh Applications in Pune District

Pune, 23rd July 2024: The Maharashtra State Government’s popular Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is in full swing, with almost 5 lakh applications submitted by women in Pune District to benefit from this scheme. Under this initiative, the government will provide Rs 1500 monthly to economically weaker sections of society, aiming to help widows, divorcees, and disabled women by providing much-needed financial assistance.

A total of 4,92,888 women across the Pune District have applied for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. The urban areas of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad have received 1,21,254 applications as of yesterday. The following is the area-by-area distribution of the number of applications received:

– Ambegaon Taluka: 48,082
– Shirur Taluka: 42,202
– Baramati Taluka: 39,382
– Junnar Taluka: 37,917
– Khed Taluka: 35,871
– Indapur Taluka: 32,461
– Maval Taluka: 28,277
– Daund Taluka: 26,738
– Haveli Taluka: 25,058
– Purandar Taluka: 20,024
– Mulshi Taluka: 14,945
– Bhor Taluka: 14,908
– Velhe Taluka: 5,569

To apply for this scheme online, Narishakti Doot can be used. For those who cannot use the online mode, nearby government offices can be visited to get more information. The application process is entirely free. Eligible women will start receiving benefits by the end of this month. The final date for applying is 31st August 2024. Additionally, District Women and Child Development Officer Monika Randhave has emphasized that the application process should be completed only at the official help centres of the government.
