Mumbai, 28th October 2023: Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, is once again the target of death threats. An ominous email received on October 27 demanded a hefty sum of Rs 20 crore, threatening to resort to violence if the demand went unmet.

Responding to the alarming situation, Mumbai’s Gamdevi police station has registered a case under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the IPC. A comprehensive investigation has been initiated, and authorities are confident in swiftly tracing the accused.

This is not the first time Ambani has encountered such threats. Last year, a caller had issued threats involving the potential bombing of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and harm to Mukesh, Nita Ambani, and their children. The threats extended to a potential bomb attack on Ambani’s residence, Antilia.

In a related incident in 2021, a car laden with explosives near Antilia heightened security concerns. The vehicle contained 20 gelatin sticks and a threatening letter directed at the Ambani family. Subsequent investigations resulted in the arrest of individuals associated with the threat.
